Eurocopter delivers AS350 B2 to Mexico

Eurocopter has announced that its Mexican subsidiary, Eurocopter de México S.A. (EMSA), has delivered a AS350 B2 helicopter to the Quito Aerial Police Service, of the Ecuadorian National Police Force, for use on public security missions.
The single-engine aircraft was presented during a ceremony at the customer’s facilities in Quito. The Aerial Police Service now has two AS350 B2s following this latest delivery under the contract signed by EMSA with the General Headquarters of the Ecuadorian National Police Force in December 2009. The new helicopter will provide support in the fight against organised crime and public security missions.
The single-engine Ecureuil AS350 B2 is a multi-mission helicopter offering outstanding performance and optimum safety standards. Its great versatility and low maintenance costs make it the most popular model in Latin America for police and public security missions. With this new AS350 B2 there are now 119 AS350s in use for public service missions in Latin America and 558 worldwide.
