Boeing Wins $245M for P-8A Production

Boeing Wins $245M for P-8A Production

The Boeing Co., Seattle, Wash., is being awarded a $244,894,000 advance acquisition contract with firm-fixed-price line items to procure long-lead materials in support of the manufacture and delivery of 13 P-8A multi-mission Maritime Aircraft Lot I.

Work will be performed in Seattle, Wash. (63.8 percent); Greenlawn, N.Y. (11.7 percent); Baltimore, Md. (11.0 percent); North Amityville, N.Y. (8.2 percent); and McKinney, Texas (5.3 percent); and is expected to be completed in April 2016.

This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to FAR6.302-1. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
