Alenia Aermacchi and TAI sign agreement

Alenia Aermacchi and TAI sign agreement

Alenia Aermacchi and TAI sign agreement to jointly explore new markets.

Alenia Aermacchi and TAI have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) formalising the interest of both companies in expanding industrial and commercial cooperation on products of mutual interest and identifying potential programmes in third country markets.

The partnership is tangible sign of the Alenia Aermacchi and TAI’s strong relationship on the ATR 72ASW programme for the Turkish Navy.

Based on the MoU, TAI and Alenia Aermacchi established a joint Steering Committee that will meet regularly to identify and explore potential new markets. Possible customers have been identified and discussions on how to approach these markets are on-going.
