Raytheon lands $100 million in contracts for weapons

Raytheon Co. has received two contracts from the U.S. Department of Defense for separate weapons systems.

The Tucson-based missile unit received an $84.3 million contract from the U.S. Navy for a modification to an existing contract to supply the Joint Standoff Weapon C-1, an air-to-ground guided weapon.

Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) also received a $15 million contract from the U.S. Air Force for laser-guided Maverick, air-to-ground tactical missiles.

Last week, Raytheon in Tucson received a $241 million contract for the Standard Missile-3.
