RNZAF 40 Sqn C-130 Hercules delivers aid to Aitutaki Island
The New Zealand Defence Force’s 'Operation Cook Islands Assist' is beginning its third day of helping the local population of Aitutaki clean up the damage from Cyclone Pat, which swept over the island last weekend.
The New Zealand Defence Force’s 'Operation Cook Islands Assist' helped the local population of Aitutaki clean up the damage from Cyclone Pat, which swept over the island in February 2010. Navy, Army and Air elements were involved in the effort, bringing together the strengths of each service.
