Boeing Secures $4.7 Billion Deal to Deliver Apache Helicopters to Poland. Poland orders 96 AH-64E Apaches, marking the largest international purchase in the program’s history.

Boeing has announced it will manufacture AH-64E Apache attack helicopters for international customers under a foreign military sales contract valued at nearly $4.7 billion, awarded by the U.S. Army. The agreement includes the delivery of 96 aircraft to the Polish Armed Forces, representing the largest Apache order outside the United States since the program began.

Deliveries are scheduled to start in 2028. Poland, which currently leases eight Apaches from the U.S. Army, has already begun training pilots and maintenance crews on the platform, according to Boeing.

Globally, more than 1,300 Apache helicopters are in service. The Pentagon confirmed earlier this week that Boeing had secured two contracts worth over $7 billion in total — the $4.7 billion Apache deal and an additional $2.4 billion contract with the U.S. Air Force for Lot 12 Production Aircraft, subscriptions, and licenses.

In recent months, Boeing has also delivered new Apache helicopters to several international defense forces, including the Australian Army, the Indian Army, and the Royal Moroccan Air Force.
