Russian UTair Transports Mi-26T Airframes with Sling
UTair Aviation has delivered two Russian Helicopters Mi-26T airframes via a cargo sling attached to another Mi-26T.
The transport covered more that 1,200 miles (2,000 kilometers) and is the first Mi-26T delivery using the method. Due to the size and weight of the airframes, land-based transport was not an option. The operation took 25 days and more than 70 flight hours to complete.
