Northrop Gets $200 Million Air Force Contract to Service B-2s
Military contractor Northrop Grumman Corp. said Thursday it received a $200 million contract from the U.S. Air Force to develop a more efficient maintenance and support program for the B-2 war planes.
The one-year contract tasks Northrop with developing a program to meet the Air Force's support needs for its fleet of B-2s, with the goal of improving its combat readiness.
Northrop Grumman, which has annual revenue of around $80 billion, saw its shares add 11 cents to $68.77 in early trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
