Russian AF bombs jihadist forces near Turkish military post
The Russian Air Force unleashed a new round of airstrikes over the northwestern countryside of the Hama Governorate this evening, targeting the positions of the jihadist and Turkish-backed rebels
According to a military source in Hama city, the Russian Air Force heavily bombarded the militants in the Sheir Magher area, causing a number of explosions that could be heard across the northwestern countryside of the governorate.
The source said the Russian airstrikes hit the militant positions near the Turkish Army’s observation post along the Hama-Idlib axis.
He would add that while the Russian airstrikes were conducted near the Turkish observation post, they did not actually hit their military positions.
Tonight’s airstrikes come just hours after the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) almost hit the same Turkish military post in the northwestern countryside of the Hama Governorate.
