A trio of planes from the Intrepid in Manhattan are waiting on a barge here before embarking on a final voyage to the Empire State Aerosciences Museum in Glenville.

It is unclear when the planes, from the sea, air and space museum, will begin the 10-hour trip up the Hudson River and through the Erie Canal, which opens next week.

"The schedule is somewhat flexible and contingent upon the opening of the canal and access for a crane to the pier site," John Panoski, aerosciences museum vice president, said last week.

The planes, which were moved out of the New York City museum to make way for the space shuttle Enterprise, arrived Sunday at the Port of Albany.
