Note: The PMSA operates as a specialized paramilitary wing under the Ministry of Defence, distinct from the Pakistan Navy. While its organic aviation component is currently limited to specialized BN-2T Defender aircraft for coastal surveillance and SAR missions, its larger Kashmir-class ships provide the capability to host rotary-wing assets when required. For advanced anti-submarine warfare or long-range maritime strike capabilities, the PMSA relies on support from the Pakistan Naval Aviation wing.
