Azerbaijan to receive 64 new military helicopters this year
Azerbaijan has purchased several 40 Mi-17V1 and 24 Mi-35M helicopters that are to be delivered to the country by the end of 2012.
From contracts signed in 2010, Azerbaijan will this year receive a total of 64 helicopters, consisting of 40 Mi-17V1 and 24 Mi-35M models, being built by the Kazan and Rostvertol plants. This all adds up to the largest aviation contract signed between the two countries.
